Meet the Staff

Tina Anderson

I have worked at Sunflower Club since 2006 and have worked  as a Manager in child care for about 10 years.  I hold a BTEC National Diploma in Child Care (Level 3) and a current first aid certificate.  I am very keen to ensure the Club offers the best childcare and aim to work towards continual improvement through quality assurance assessment, goal setting and action plans, team working and staff planning.

I enjoy our show and tell sessions with the children, and enjoy all aspects of the natural world so am always delighted to organise a mini beast hunt, bird watching or a nature treasure trail!

Lorna Howard

I started work at Sunflower Club in November 2011 as Deputy Manager. I have a Level 4 NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. I have 4 years experience working in a Children’s Nursery, and am First Aid trained. I have also undertaken further training around Special Educational Needs, Children’s Behaviour and Development and Inclusion.

The children, parents and staff have all welcome me to club enthusiastically and I have enjoyed learning new team games! I have also been very impressed by the children’s knowledge of Dinosaurs for our topic theme!

In my spare time i enjoy socialising with friends and love to travel seeing new places and experiencing different cultures.
