We are a registered charity run by a management team and a parent committee. At Sunflower Club we use the Recreation Road school facilities, but we run separately from the school. Our ethos is to create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where children can have fun and make friends in a safe environment. The Club is available for children aged 3 years & 11 months to 8 years.

The staff team are made up of a manager, setting lead, playworkers and assistant playworkers. All staff are DBS checked in line with safer recruitment procedures and we are Ofsted registered.

For bookings at Sunflower Club we require a completed registration form for your child before attendance, and booking in advance is essential, please contact us to ensure spaces.

Here at Sunflower club we follow the Playwork Principles and the Early Years Foundation Stage. These Principles help us to ensure we are providing the best possible opportunities to meet every individual child’s play needs, make friends, and have fun whilst learning about the environment and world around them. Our staff aim to support your children whilst they play freely, experience new things and follow their own interests in a fun, knowledgeable and safe environment. We aim to provide a stimulating setting, whilst encouraging fair play within a sharing and caring environment.
